Last Minute Bangkok Thailand Tour

This was a last minute Bangkok Thailand tour, booking was done on a Friday and flying off the next Wednesday. We first arrived at the Suvarnabhumi Airport (the newer airport) and it took us around one and a half hour to reach the Indra Regent Hotel located beside Baiyoke Sky Hotel and near the Pratunam due to traffic jam.
Indra Regent Hotel

Pratunam is an easy district to find no matter where you are in Bangkok thanks to its domineering icon, the Baiyoke Sky Hotel. Rising an impressive 88 storeys high, it is Thailand's tallest building. The most distinctive feature of Bangkok's skyline, it also marks the spot for one of the city's all-time, favourite pursuits: Shopping! A scandalous variety of goods are on offer, with something for everyone - no matter how deep or shallow your pocket may be.

Siam Discovery
Siam Discovery offers the most pleasant and leisurely shopping experience of any of the major malls in Bangkok thanks to its sophisticated concept of how it presents the items on display. It’s an experience like nowhere else in Thailand’s shopping-mad capital.

Following a complete refurbishment in 2016, the ground floor still has its chic boutiques and anchor stores from Issey Miyake, Diesel and Comme des Garcons but, as you head to higher floors, you will notice a distinct lack of shops. Instead, goods are laid out naturally, as you expect to see them in someone’s home. This is a trend which has been popular in Japan and Korea for several years, but Siam Discovery is the first to implement this new shopping experience in Bangkok.

Siam Paragon

Siam Paragon is a shopping mall in Bangkok, Thailand, currently the 3rd largest mall in Thailand, after CentralWorld and CentralPlaza WestGate, and one of the biggest shopping centres in Asia.

Siam Paragon includes a wide range of specialty stores and restaurants as well as a multiplex movie theatre (consisted of 15 large size theaters with one of them having the biggest screen and seating capacity in Asia) and the Sea Life Ocean World (Underwater world) aquarium (the largest aquarium in South East Asia), an exhibition hall, the Thai Art Gallery and also an opera concert hall.

It also has a large bowling alley and karaoke centre. It is a joint venture by Siam Piwat, the company that owns the adjacent Siam Center/Siam Discovery shopping malls, and The Mall Group, which also owns The Emporium.

Pratunam is one of Bangkok's most colourful and chaotic areas, and famous for its fashion factory outlets, street markets, bazaars and armies of local vendors. Pratunam offers bargain prices for all kinds of clothing, apparel, fashion accessories, shoes, watches, jewellery, belts, luggage, etc.

It is easy to walk through Pratunam and find your way back due to the iconic building that you can easily see and recognize from far.

Lastly, Pratunam is a great shopping area, where you can either find the high end branded stuffs or wholesale cheaper stuffs or even a last minute massage for your Bangkok Thailand tour at a good deal.
